Sources and references
Every factual claim on this site should be traceable to something you can check yourself. This page lists what we used and, just as importantly, what we chose not to use.
Primary sources
These are the sources we treat as authoritative. Where they disagree with us, they are right.

Legal and regulatory sources
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — for the privacy policy, in particular Articles 4, 6, 13, 15–21, 28, 37 and 77.
- Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), Article 5(3) — the storage-and-access rule, and why a site that stores nothing needs no consent banner. See the cookie policy.
- Directive 2000/31/EC (e-commerce), Article 5 — the information a service provider must make available, reflected in the legal notice.
- Czech company law and the public Commercial Register (obchodní rejstřík) — for the publisher’s registration details.
What we do not use
- Other people’s articles as a factual source. Useful for knowing what to go and check; never cited as the authority for a fact.
- Community wikis and general encyclopaedias. Often excellent and useful for working out what to go and check, but not the publisher. Where a detail appeared only there and not in the publisher’s own material — squad sizes and the numeric battle-rating scale, for instance — we left it out rather than launder it into a fact.
- Aggregated review scores. We publish no ratings of our own and we do not launder someone else’s into a claim.
- Marketing copy from the advertiser. It is advertising. It tells us what is being sold, not what is true.
- Anything anonymous. Forum posts, leaks and unattributed claims do not make it onto these pages.
What we could not verify
Stated plainly, and repeated in the articles themselves:
- Players per team in any mode, for any current version.
- The numeric battle-rating scale. Third-party sites quote one to five; the publisher’s own pages we checked do not state it, so we describe the principle instead of printing the number.
- How many soldiers a squad holds.
- The current number of maps, and whether every named mode is still in rotation.
- Whether the last-generation console versions are still maintained.
- Prices of any store item, in any currency.
- System requirements.
- Player counts, concurrent users, download figures or review scores — we quote none.
- The exact date and version number of the 2024 progression rework, beyond the year.
All of these are obtainable from the primary sources above. We would rather point you there than print a number we cannot stand behind.
Precedence
Articles on this site are dated snapshots of a product that changes continuously. In case of any divergence between this site and the information published by the product’s own publisher, the publisher’s information prevails.
