Why there is no contact form
A contact form would collect your name, your email address and your message, and store or transmit them through this website. This site promises that it collects nothing — no cookies, no analytics, no form submissions — and a form would break that promise for the sake of a marginally prettier page.
So: plain email. It goes directly to us, you keep a copy in your sent folder, and nothing passes through this website at all. What happens to an email you send us is set out in section 4 of the privacy policy.
What to write about
- A factual error. Tell us the page and what is wrong. We check it against a primary source, fix it, and log it on the corrections page. See the corrections procedure.
- A data protection request under the GDPR — access, erasure, objection and the rest. See the privacy policy for what we do and do not hold, which is very little.
- Something you found in developer tools that contradicts our no-cookies claim. We want to know immediately.
- Rights and permissions — reusing our text or diagrams.
- Trade mark or copyright concerns from a rights holder. Write and we will respond promptly.
What we cannot help with
